How much does a business plan cost in the UK?
Quotes in the UK run from about £300 to well over £5,000. Big consultancies charge for meetings, travel and layers of sign-off. We don’t. A small, focused team and a clear process keep our business plan writing affordable, starting at £150 for a 15-page plan with a year of forecasts.
So what pushes the price up? Length, research depth and the number of forecast years. A Start Up Loan application rarely needs more than our Essential package. An investor round or a visa application usually needs Extensive, because the reader will test every assumption.

Business plans for UK funding routes
Each lender reads a plan differently. Start Up Loans, run through the British Business Bank, cares most about affordability and your personal budget. High street banks look at security, repayment cover and trading history. Innovate UK competitions score applications against published criteria, so we map each section to the scoring guide.
Then there’s the Innovator Founder visa. Here the plan goes to an endorsing body, not a bank, and it must show the idea is new, workable and able to grow. Get it wrong and the cost is far higher than the price of the plan.
